Bought perfect photo album for my postcard-stamp collection. Guess where I got it. At Muji! Can’t believe I have to rely on a Japanese shop even post Japan.

Aug 15 Meeting with MAOU cast
quick update about Aug 15 when we accidentally got to meet Ikuta Toma
and whoever his co-stars are.
Entry taken from Aug 15 entry
August 15 will be known as Toma Day for me. [If i even remember this next year. will set a calendar day in my google calendar. ;) ]This is the day everyone’s jokes came true. Yes, everyone who joked that I’ll see Toma in Tokyo, thanks for your prophecies. Yes people, I’ve met Ikuta Toma in person!!! What luck.
I’ll write all the things in detail because I like repeating stuff. I might repeat this to you again and again, please forgive me because I have a very short term memory.
***
I was in charge of the August 15 Firday tour of Tokyo, I’ve became the sort-of tour guide of Tokyo because of my fascination with Japan. I thought that touring broadcast stations sounds like fun, my motive is to take as many pictures of HUGE drama posters as I can.
My guidebook only told me about Fuji TV and TV Asahi. FUji TV’s building is a modern one with a round observatory tower. That itself is an attraction. TV Asahi is in the classy district of Roppongi, so the guide book writer just wrote it in. Another book told about NHK, because it’s near Shinjuku.
I checked to see what shows the three broadcasting companies where showing. All of the shows are those taht I have not watched so it sounds really dull. Then I checked Tokyo Broadcast Station (TBS) because I remembered they were the one with Hana Kimi. Bingo! They have Maou too. Great, Maou posters, here I come!
Hui Ying left that morning and we walked to the station together. Hope her RA life will be very exciting.
FOr the tour of TBS, I asked A-Day to meet us at Akasaka-??? station. It’s not the nearest to TBS. We could go to another exit but that would require us to change trains, plus it was only a stop away from where we were living, we can go out really late and still arrive early.
But A-day figured out my evil plan anyway. Oh well.
We walked from the station to TBS, I didn’t really know if we were walking in the right direction. We reached the end of the long street and saw the sign for TBS. We pass the TBS shop on the way to the building.
As we went nearer, I saw Toma on a HUGE screen. I shouted to the others, “I see Ikuta Toma! I see Ikuta Toma.” They weren’t very impressed that it was on a big screen. I was disappointed that they were airing pre-recorded stuff. Then when we got nearer the building.
There was a lot of people when we got there. WOnder what event’s on. So we went to check the event board.
I saw “Maou fan thanking meeting” written in chalk. So it’s a secret meeting that they are having to plan how to thank the fans? Wait a minute! I looked at the stage and it was red with black writing. Maou theme colours!
Then I realised that Toma was not sitting somewhere in a studio, but sitting on the stage right in front of me. Like a mad woman, I grabbed Day’s arm and said, “Maou! Maou! Maou!” Pei Ying and Mei Chen were not fans of Japanese dramas so they didn’t really know why I was so happy.
My fantasy of meeting Ikuta Toma became reality! I don’t care if he’s sitting so far away. I actually saw him! Photo taking of the actors were not allowed but I managed to snap one photo with a pixelated Toma.
Original photo
The major characters from the drama was there. Even spooky girl, the leading lady with HUGE eyes who I find hard to like because she has lines with Toma. Shoo!
There were many many people and I tried worming my way to the front. I ended up standing under the sun and sweating buckets It was very very hot so we decided to visit the building instead.
The lobby of TBS had huge posters and stand-up posters. It was a ROOKIES special day. I never knew why people liked ROOKIES> Everyone in it is so not good looking and its all about angsty high school boys with no love story plot. yawn
I tried calling Wawa to see if she’ll ask me to do anything crazy to attract Ohno’s attention. She didn’t pick up her phone, perhaps she’s in class.
Lots of photo snapping in the building. Then Day said we should go out and see if the live broadcast was ending.
It was, and we decided to go to the side of the stage. It wasn’t a good position because there was a huge board covering the actors. I could only see Toma’s hands and legs from where I was.
I did manage to worm into a space where I can see more of Toma. But the thing ended just as I was getting comfy. Girls were screaming “Oochan!” and “Toma!” Most of the people there were girls.
The actors waved goodbye and left the stage. Lots of the fans rushed to near the exit, but we stayed put to get a photo of the stage as proof of being there. We asked if the stage could be photographed and were told to go ahead.
Just as I was happily taking out my camera, the host announced that Toma and Ohno are going back on stage. Faint! I was standing so very very near him. It’s the idiom “a stone’s throw away.” If I threw my water bottle, it would hit Toma on the head. Ha ha.
But since the guys were out, no photos were allowed. However, Mei Chen who had her camera out to take a photo of the stage managed to snap a photo of the guys. Thanks a million!!!
Cropped with Picasa.
Very happily I watched Toma with his wrinkled forehead. Is it the sun? Or is he just in a bad mood?
He and Ohno joked around on stage. I can’t really guess what they were saying. But I did catch that Toma’s starring in a musical that’s like Grease. He and Ohno did a sort of pelvic pushing dance, which made the girls scream, and which I assume is from Grease.
FInally it ended. The people in charge were taking off the stage rather too quickly. But we managed to snap pictures of it. Evil wins
Aug 15 continued
almost forgot to continue with the update. It’s been one month since I’ve met Toma. ha ha
had a dream where Toma was eating BBQ. LOL — Sept 15, 2008
will update text soon!
—
It’s Oct 19 and I realised I had not updated the text. Ha ha. Shall do it as I procrastinate.
After getting my adrenaline super high on Toma, we went to the second destination on our list: TV Asahi. On the way, we saw posters of MAOU and the red room where Ohno looks broodingly at Toma.
Being touristy is a privilege for idiots.
They don’t use cameras but their phone cams. High tech!
I’ll get you one day! (says Ohno’s character, not me though I do hope so. ha ha)
In the subway station, there was a poster of the very cute Miyazaki Aoi. She’s just so unmade-uply cute!
So we reached Roppongi’s station and off to TV Asahi’s place. It wasn’t too brilliant. There was a room dedicated to Doraemon.
Some posters of dramas which I have never heard of. yawn
Then we went to the posh shopping place next to TV Asahi. And I saw my v first Anna Sui shop. And took a photo!
For lunch, we had ramen. It was on the guide book. We bought the tickets at the machine inside.
I had cabbage ramen. It’s for the health conscious office ladies. Good serving of veggies.
Some more walking. The big spider at Roppongi.
Then off we went to Fuji TV (again!) coz I didn’t get to visit the building last time. And MC and I planned to go to the hit spring place at Odaiba, we had bought a discounted voucher at Family Mart last night.
About the voucher, it was a few hundred off and you don’t need to pay and slow down your hot spring soaking. But we didn’t realise one v important thing. will tell later.
The rainbow bridge.
It was a Friday and it was the summer holiday AND there was some event. Just when we were thinking, where are all the poeple in TOkyo, we saw them gathered on this tiny island called Odaiba.
People
and more people
Fuji TV sucked! It was a lame long queue for stupid props. Perhaps it would be better when ppl are actually filming but there was none when we got there. Waste of time.
yatai~~
MC and I parted with PY and Day. We then scheduled to meet at AQUA City after MC and I soaked in onsen. Then all three of us will go to Tokyo Tower. Nicely planned out. So Mc and I went to queue for the shuttle bus.
Hmm.. quite a lot of people. But we managed to get seats.
Happy happy
But wait a minute! The queue just to get in to buy ticket is f–king long. So long we have to queue outside. Why didn’t we realise it was a day b4 weekend??!! And where will PY and Day have gone, we can’t possibly find them, even if we want! NOOOOOOOOOOO!
But still, MC and I decided to go back to AQUA city to look for them -> go to -> Tokyo towers then return for onsen. We bought the one day pass and hopped on to AQUA city. We decided that if we couldn’t find them at a certain time, we’ll leave for the towers.
Off to AQUA city. we asked the kind info counter to ask for our friends. THey did, but PY and Day didn’t come. Then MC went off to look for them. I stood anxiously in front of COACH, making the security a bit nervous.
Then, about 20 minutes later, MC came back with PY and Day! What luck! Yes, lady luck had always been with us on this short trip. We love her.
We then rescheduled the remainder of the day. MC and I will come back around 8pm for onsen, coz ppl are probably a lot lesser then. PY brought Day to visit around while MC and I had dinner. bla bla bla
We made it to Tokyo Tower. It’s horrid in the day but better than Eiffel at night. Ha, not that I’ve seen the Eiffel at night.
Photo snap snap snap.
Off MC and I went to Odaiba. No queue. We picked yukata to wear. We didn’t know how to find our lockers. We didn’t wear our “inner clothes” to the hot spring room (of course we have our yukata on, you pervert!) But who cares! No one does, seriously!
They have a themed street of old Tokyo (the name comes from this too). The springs were good. My feet screamed in the salty Gold pool (from under the sea) but it was healing.
Tried out the outdoor pool when I got a bit faint.
In conclusion: no need to feel embarassed when you’re in a hot spring. Everyone else is naked anyway.
IT was great!
When we took the train back it was almost midnight. When we reached a JR station, it *was* midnight and the expiry of my JR pass. I bought a ticket back.
I still had last minute photo transfer and packing. Was thinking of buying a pineapple cocktail but might not be able to wake up the next morning.
I love Japan. I do.
Prologue of trip to Japan
I never really believed that I would get to go to Japan to study (even if it’s 6 weeks.) I’ve joked about it with Mom about staying at her friend’s in Okinawa if I get good grades. The grades were a bit disappointing when they came out. So out went learning Japanese in Japan.
Then a turn of luck came when one of the grades was reviewed. My grades got pulled up a bit,in search of not so ugly crocs
saw Crocs Malindi yesterday at AQUA city. can’t seem to find any Crocs Alice anywhere!!!
will be looking out for them today. Plans:Shinjuku
Harajuku
Shibuya
Roppongi
GInza
last post from Japan
All trips have to end. My seven week in japan will end at Narita Airport.
I went back a bit earlier than 1am yesterday (today?). Packing was as tiring as usual and slept at 2am plus.
Woke at 5am for last preparations. Then off to JR station at 5*45am. Train came at 6.17am. Reached Shinjuku and went to the Narita Express platform.
Didn’t manage to book a ticket in advance so had to stand for the 90 minute trip, but the price was more than half of the 3110yen for sitting. My bag worked as a seat well anyway.
Very drowsy, but manage to get to the airport, had to show passport after leaving train station. Then went to 3rd floor and collected my huge suitcase. It was mailed to the airport before I left for Tokyo. (WHat a great service!!!) You can even send your golf clubs or skis to resorts.
Opened the suitcase and stuffed more stuff in. Luggage was 19.9kg, 100 grams away from overweight. Ha ha ha! Queen of packing messily has done it again.
I’ll miss Japan because of its convenience. They have everything i want and sushi’s really tasty too.
School’s starting next week for me. :D
PS I met Ikuta Toma yesterday. Ha ha ha ha ha ha !!!!!!!! worth every cent of my S$980 airticket and my shinkansen pass to get to tokyo. will update it (when I have time)
Aug 14 Tokyo Day 2
I forgot if it was this day or the day after, but I was really shocked at the train station when I saw the electronic timetable board showing, “person accident.” and the train will be delayed. Pardon my lame translation. But I’ve read about this “accidents” before, it means that someone has jumped down the train tracks and you know the rest of the story.
And I’ve read that when people see the sign, they would just calmly take out their handphones and sms other people to tell that they’ll be late. Horrors! The thing was never shown when I was in Fukuoka, but in Tokyo. I felt sick in my stomach. Someone has just died. On train tracks.
Anyway, back to the day…
The night before, HY arranged with Day to meet up at Shinjuku’s station so all of us can tour Tokyo together. What was not on our minds was that the map online of the train station is totally different from the real place.
A poster at Tokyo stations. I think it means that don’t rush into trains that are closing their doors. The picture doesn’t make sense at first glance. It still doesn’t make much sense now.
SO we went to Shinjuku station. Then we realised that the map of the train station online is totally different from the real thing. We walked from exit to exit and still couldn’t find D. So I told them to stay put while I use my JR pass to get to the South Gates.
Very luckily, Day was at the South gate when I got there. (Told you we were lucky during the whole trip) SO we walked back to the East gates, but HY had ran off to find us. We waited some more and she came back from her search.
Sometimes I wonder if I’m too apathetic or that other people are just too helpful. I guess it’s me.
Off we went to a conbini to buy breakfast. I bought a cream puff and it was yummy!
We went to the Municipal Building, coz we can go high up for free. (Free is a very important thing!) Like always, we walked in the wrong direction before going to the right direction.
The building is high. And you have to go through security checks before you can take the high speed lifts up.
Oi aunty, we’re taking photos!
After sightseeing, we walked back to SHinjuku station. PY and MC wanted to climb Mt Fuji and they want to ask tour operators about it.
On the way to the station, we saw a branch of a famous pork cutlet shop.
THis place is great, rice, soup and salad is free flow! I discovered a bug in my salad. They took away my whole tray. I should had eaten more of my pork before letting them take my things away. Anyway, I asked for more soup.
Back in Shinjuku, PY, MC and D signed up for the Mt Fuji climbing tour. Ganbatte!
Then off we went to TOKYO HANDS, because I was being an ass. But TOKYU HANDS was amazing. Why didn’t they have it in Fukuoka?! I was deprived!!!!
I bought my pair of Crocs here, because they had an AMAZING collection. Oh, CROCS in Singapore are more expensive than in Japan, so get your pair in Japan!
Then HY had an inner debate of whether to go ASAHI TV or Harajuku. In the end, we went to HA-RA-JU-KU!
What’s surprising about Harajuku is that the train station has a lot of trees! TREES! I had never linked Harajuku to tree. I mean, when you hear Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Girls, do you see trees in your mind? NO!
Then we found out why there were so much trees. The station is next to the Meiji Shrine. The Meiji Shrine is the shrine of Emperor and Empress Meiji.
By the bridge to the temple there are artists
Impressive!
A shrine is a shrine is a shrine. I’ve seen too much!
They asked for a donation when you use their chop. I did, didn’t I?
Oh, when we were in the shrine, the guard told a tourist, “No Photo.” I know I was being rude, but I was too tired to walk away to find seats so we sat on the steps, and the guard came out and said, “No sitting.” in Japanese. I think they never told him how to say, “No sitting”
I’ve been told that miko are usually just part timers. I want to be a part time miko too!!! I love that dress.
On our way out, we saw two very cool street performers. OK, they’re good looking too. It was raining but we still stood there watching.
You see the girl on the left. She blocked my view of the cute guys! OK, that’s not really the point. She was happily clapping in tune with the guys, ignoring the rain and my “go away” vibe. THink she’s a big fan of them.
We reluctantly went away when they finished their song. Maybe they’ll become a big famous band and we can say, we’ve seen them performing on the streets.
Harajuku’s Takeshita Dori. Very crowded with lots of shops
We went into an idol shop, it was lined up with posters and photo cards of idols. Quite fanatical.
Toma darling!
Of course, we had Marion Crepes. There’s a branch here in IMM.
I’m not that well suited for crepes, I feel really dizzy around the end and sligh
A turn from the end of Takeshita Dori took us to Omotesando Hills . A very classy shopping area, with
classy public loo
David Beckham’s underwear advert opposite his wife’s advert for no-one-knows
A police van with funny drawing
Nice Parisian, side walk Mc Donald’s
Then we walked on to Shibuya, the fashion mecca of Tokyo (If you’re a teen). Along the way, we saw
A 3D fugu advert
United Nations University (Good place to continue my studies??)
We were greeted by hundreds of people when we got to Shibuya
First stop was the Hachiko statue next to to the station
Suddenly, I saw a foreigner holding the ranKing ranQueen bag. HY wanted to go there and she bravely asked where the place was from the girl.
RanKing RanQueen is a shop selling top 10 items of everything: cosmetics (divided into mascara, foundation, lip gloss, etc), diet food, books, CDs, you name it!
kat-tun
stupid idiot! Saw this guy’s van when we were at Meiji Shrine. Was already pissed at him. His banners say, “Revive the Imperial Army”. “America is guilty for atomic bombing” “invasion of other countries during World War II was self defense” “WWII was a holy war!”
what the bleep. this guy is just waiting for someone to shoot him in the brains.
Strange girl outside station:
After that, it was SHIBUYA 109.
I think everyone was quite tired around this time. We took the excalator up to the 7th floor and the lifts down. Then we decided to have dinner.
The guide book said there was a branch of Tsukiji sushi at Shibuya, we found the place. This is the one place that I had really bad service. The one and only place. I do not recommend the Tsukiji Sushi at Shibuya. You get better service else where
So we went in the shop. I didn’t notice that the waiter wasn’t too polite as I was happily thinking about sushi. They showed us (5 ppl) one copy of their rules and regulation in Chinese.
Ok, one copy for 5 people? Isn’t that a bit too little to spread out?
Anyway, the rules are
- Order within first 20 minutes,
- If it is between 5:30 – 7:30pm, you are allowed only 35 minutes for your meal.
- You must eat 7 dishes.
- and other crap that no one reads anyway.
Whatever! So we were brought to a row of seats. And the sushi guy was saying, “Please order, please order.” with a smirk.
Then a group of noisy Taiwanese aunties sat beside us. They were noisy, too noisy.
Then p and m realised that they have to eat seven dishes. they do not like raw stuff and no one can eat seven dishes of egg sushi, not even if they’re famished. It’s just too disgusting. So they asked for the bill, and since we haven’t been there for 20 minutes, it’s ok not to eat 7 dishes. that’s what we thought
Anyway, the cashier didn’t say anything to p and m. But when they got out, things started getting nasty.
The cashier told the sushi master, “They can’t read chinese characters. ha ha”
Sushi master, “WHy don’t they just stay back and watch the olympics.”
Hmm.. maybe they didn’t realise that the three of us can understand their conversation very very well. Didn’t have an appetite after that but threw him death glares.
After eating seven plates, we left. Hmph!
Then we took the train to Ginza to catch a kabuki show.
Kabuki is usually long and they have breaks in between. If you’re on a budget and can’t sit through the whole show, you can get seats for part of the show. We did just that.
We queued for a long time in the dark alley before we bought our tickets. We didn’t rent the translating thingy (regret!) and as there were no sitting seats, we stood. My feet which had been tortured by the crocs were stinging.
I thought it was only about half an hour. But it was v v v long.
Still, the stage was magnificent, their scene changes by replacing the scene board with another. The board is painted beautifully and the clothes are good too.
But they used really strange language, I could only sort of guess what was happening on stage. I almost fell asleep halfway through the show.
Finally it ended! and everyone went home
We got home and started some photo transfering.
bought crocs
my luck! we went to shinjuku’s TOkyu hands and they have crocs of all types! Got myself Alice, gave me blisters. bleeep
Aug 13, Monday Tokyo
First on out list today is Asakusa Temple. HY instant messaged Day to meet us at the Edo Cultural Museum at 1pm. In the end, he didn’t come because he saw the message a bit too late. It has been seven weeks, we have survived without a handphone for seven weeks. Imagine that! And all everyone can do is say to meet at a certain time and corss fingers and wait for the others to come.
Asakusa Temple has a street lined with shops to cheat tourists’ money. It was stuffy there coz they had tent over the walkway between the shope.
I decided to get a fortune telling thingy from the temple. I’ve never tried doing it in Japan. But the results was a bad one. I think I asked about my on campus accomodation. Holy cow! It’s damn true! I have no luck even with the waitlist, but D’s kindly taken me in.
I wanted to bring the paper home as a souvenir but HY insisted that I tie it at the temple, like one should when getting a bad reading. My stubborness didn’t win, so the least I can do is take a photo of it being tied nicely.
The temple was ok ok. Then it was time to go to the museum.
Took this photo of 24 hour TV on train.
Edo museum is a fun place. They had performances when we were there. Kyoto Cultural Museum is crap, even withour comparing it to Edo museum. DO NOT GO TO KYOTO CULTURAL MUSEUM. waste of money
Child birth
Then we went to Tokyo University. The top university of Japan. We decided to lunch around the area because in theory, there will be lots of cheap places to eat.
Not *that* much cheap eating places, but we went to a Yoshinoya-like place and got set meals. Usually, only men go to places like this. But we’re tourists! Forgive us!
I cracked my raw egg into my rice. heh heh heh
Tokyo University’s famous red gates.
There was no big sign saying “TOKYO UNIVERSITY” so we took a photo with the Opening Hours sign instead, at least it has the kanji on it.
The campus had lovely western buildings.Remember the creepy buildings in Kyushu U, there is not one creepy haunted looking building here. We sneaked in one of the buildings, not that furnished, but it looked like they were using Macs. Rich kids!
Next stop! Akihabara for the maid cafes. We went to the bus stop and then realised it was the Bon festival and there might be no buses. The sign said that the bus to Akihabara follows the holiday schedule, I misunderstood it as being off duty so I thought we could take the subway.
While we were walking to the subway, I saw the bus! we went back the the bus stop we came from
Akihabara, the place where legends are made. we saw plenty of otaku stereotype in Akihabara, no photos here though. They wear checkered shirts, stuffed into their pants and have backpacks.
Lots of machines to turn toys. I got a Maple Story Ribbon Pig. Yipee!
The thing not to be missed in Akihabara is the Maid Cafe. We followed the direction of the cafe recommened by the travel guide book, we found the place but it has closed down.
So we had to turn back to the shop that had a queue until the exterior of the building. The place only has one small lift. to go, you need to wait at the lifts
to get up. Then when you’re up, you still need to queue to get in. The
queue reached the lower level of the fire excape. But we waited anyway.
We tried to peek in while waiting. The girls are really cute with their pouffy maid outfits, seriously better quality then the flat maid outfits you see people cosplay in.
We waited and waited Finally! it was our turn, to our disappointment, a butler came out for us. What the hell! He wasn’t even cute!!!! SHOO! He asked if we only spoke English and went back in. I don’t want to be served by an un-cute guy. sob, i won’t pay!
Then we could go in. The minute we stepped in a loud chorus of “okaerinasai, ojyosama!” (meaning, welcome home, young mistresses [opposed to masters]) rang out. I was too embarassed to look at the maids there. paiseh!
We were seated by a glasses wearing girl. She said she’s Fuki and she speaks some English. So cute! Oh, by the way, the glasses part is deliberate, because some people prefer megane-kei (glasses type). I’m a glasses fan too, ha ha.
She told us about the rules, 500 yen for sitting for one hour. Then everyone must get at least one item. You can play games with a maid (500 yen) or take a photo WITH a maid (500 yen per person)
Now’s the funny part, if you order a drink that can be shaked, the maid will sing a song and shake it for you. If you order an omelette, the maid will write on your omelette with ketchup. okaaay…
So we got two drinks and two ice cream to split. Then we people watched. There were guys coming alone, looking very otaku. And guys who look like otakus that went for a make over but was still otaku-ish. Then there were two other girls who were queueing behind us.
When our food came, we had to infuse the drink/ ice cream with power, by doing some embarassing rhyme “moe moe kyuu”. yikes! I’ll never do it again!
We concluded that our waitress was the real cute among all the other faker cutes. Around the end, I asked to take a photo with Fuki. Souvenir! Voila
Then off we went to the train station to go to Odaiba. Found this poster of a Japanese maid cafe, the maids were traditional clothings instead of the french maid ones. I think the french maid costumes are more authentic.
Poster (same branch as the one we went to “@home cafe”)
Maid giving out tissues, deliberate face covering when she saw me taking photos
More maids
Odaiba is an island where there’s shopping malls, a TV station and all the other stuff. It’s famous for its Rainbow Bridge, being featured in several (old) dramas (that I had not watched). Dramas these sayd have the blue bridge instaed, where is it?
The monorail connecting Shinbashi to Odaiba is v v v expensive. One ride was 360 yen. Hell.
Even more helly was when we got to Fuji TV, it was bleeping closed. Then I found out it closeses early these few months. Why didn’t I check online? Nevermind, we went up to the free 25th floor instead. at least there were posters there.
Some old man wearing an apron. He’s not real
It was really dark by the time we were done. There wasn’t time to go Ginza so we headed to AQUA city, the mall opposite Fuji TV. It turned out to be a great place.
There was a COACH shop
smaller statue of liberty
very cute toys
DAISO
Blueberry Mc Flurry
We had ramen for dinner in the end. This is the black soy sauce Tokyo ramen. I really prefer Hakata ramen, with it’s oily porky soup. Fukuoka, I shall return one day!
When we finished dinner, I asked if we could go to the JUMP shop. I didn’t realize how big it was. But when I saw it from the 2nd floor, I had to run down.
Started reading Gintam after yatchan’s recommendation
3D one piece in frame!
Didn’t buy anything there, even though want a One Piece poster. Next time!
Then we went home. gotta rest for tmr!
Ted and Miss Moon
instant update for Aug 13
In Tokyo now. It’s much less crowded than expected.
Did lots of things today: Visited Sensoji where I got a very bad fortune telling thingy. Hung it up at the temple. Then to Edo Museum. cool place. Then to TOkyo University Then to Akihabara where we went to a maid cafe (!!) Then to Odaiba where Fuji TV is, but realised it was closed from 6pm (guide book said 8pm, we arrived at 7pm) But AQUA city near FUji TV is a good place to window shop. And there was a HUGE Jump ShopWent home
Next is the full entry of the day
