Fortunately for me, I’ve not made any major mistakes while travelling. Hmm..maybe this once when I lost my carryon on a trolley but luckily there weren’t anything irreplaceable.
But there is one thing that I regret not doing on every trip:
Travel journalling.
I’ve always felt that I should write at least one journal entry about the day that just passed. But, each night, it felt easier to just lie in bed, put up a Facebook update and mass upload photos.
Blaming Facebook for making it easier to share my experience is a terrible excuse.
On my Paris trip, I did kept a lengthy journal (the one above) but I lost the book somewhere. It was never found.
How do you make sure that you fill in your travel journal/blog while on the go?
