‘Your Big Break’ paperback version is out

It is finally here! The paperback version of my book Your Big Break: Guide to Leaving Your Job to Travel the World and Back is here.

One lesson I learned in self-publishing

Producing this book has made realized that there are times I need to ask others for help.

In the past, I’ve been fiercely independent (or stubborn), doing everything on my own and thinking that I don’t need to bother others.

Turns out, I did need others’ help. I needed help with

  • ideas on what to include in the chapters
  • editing
  • finding a printer
  • ISBN (Yes, you can get a free Singapore ISBN.)
  • marketing (I need to follow up with JJ on this.)
  • getting the awesome cover
  • [update] MORAL SUPPORT. Buckets of moral support.

Many lessons learned in just one project. :D

    1. Ice cream is perfecting bodnnig food. Especially when it involves Reese’s! We would enjoy Breyer’s Blasts after a night of grilling while the sun is hitting the mountains and the wind is picking up. Nice way to end the 100 degree days!
