female solo traveller interview

Female solo traveller interview: Pamela Loh from Pam Goes Travelling

In order to encourage more female travellers to start solo travelling, I’m launching a series of interviews with lady adventurers.

Our first guest is Pamela from Pam Goes Travelling.

Pamela describes herself as “born and bred in a concrete jungle, Singapore. I have a flair for travelling. I am currently holding a full-time job in the consumerism corporate world while I travel the world part-time.”

We first met at a reader meet up when Jodi from Legal Nomads was in Singapore. Then we met Juno from Runaway Juno was in town. Later we went to the Asian Women Empowerment Conference 2015 together.

Chit chat with Pamela

In the video, Pamela talks about

  • What was the most anxiety-inducing part of her first solo trip: Booking the tickets.
  • Why she travels alone: So she can meet more people (which is the exact opposite of my travel style)
  • Her number one tip for ladies who are solo travelling: Do not share where you are staying at
