So you’ve finally decided that you will travel alone. No more waiting for travel partners to make up their minds. No more going to spots you don’t like to just because your travel buddy wants to go.
Yes, you are going on your first solo trip.
But where should you go?
Maybe that epic destination you’ve been dreaming of for forever. Or that country where everyone’s going to chase the Northern Lights. Oh, how about two months away in Europe? Or wait, a round-the-world trip?
Stop right there! You’re about the commit the number one mistake first-time solo travellers make.
What you should do instead
There’s no shame in starting a small first solo trip. I recommend going on a weekend trip as your first solo trip.
And since it’s your first trip alone, you’ll want to plan every single detail for your trip to minimize anxiety.
For my first maxi solo trip to France, I had an itinerary for every part of the day: Morning/ Afternoon/ Evening. I didn’t follow it completely but it gave me a peace of mind while I was away.
Not sure how to do it, I’ll show you how in my mini course for first time solo travelling. Class starts May 16. Sign up below.
